Alpine Road Work and Current Conditions

Road grading and adding of rock will begin on Tuesday, 5/20, on the Alpine Plateau Road from Hwy 50 to the Inn. Work will last one week to 10 days depending on weather conditions. Please drive carefully and do not attempt to pass moving road equipment.

The Alpine Road from the winter parking lot up to the cattle guard is temporarily closed except for Ponderosa Road residents and administrative traffic. Above the cattle guard, the road is closed to the No Stump Dump (Forest Refuse Site) and the No Stump Dump will not open until conditions improve.
