Letter from the AIA Board President

Dear Arrowhead Owners,

I would like to provide you with information regarding two topics that are of importance.

First, you may have heard that the agreement between the Arrowhead Snowmobile Club (ASC)
and AIA to winter groom the filing roads has been vacated. This agreement had been in effect
since 2009. The State of Colorado informed the ASC to stop grooming the filing roads after a
complaint was filed with the State by an Arrowhead owner(s). The State of Colorado is involved
because the ASC receives recreational grant money from the State to groom the up country
snowmobile trail(s). The AIA board is considering several options for grooming the roads for the
remainder of this winter and will seek a permanent grooming solution before next winter.

Secondly, at the last board meeting I indicated that a revised RV regulation would be considered
for adoption at the March meeting. This will not occur. This is a complex issue that has
generated many comments from owners to the Board. We simply need more time to review,
research, and consider options before proposing any revision.

Thank you,

Mike Wigent
AIA Board President
