The 2008 Arrowhead Picnic to benefit the Fire Dept. has been a wonderful success. Some say record amounts of funds and donations were collected. Kevin Stilley, fire chief is gathering the data and we will have information on this soon. He would like to thank all the volunteers and all the people attending and supporting this great cause.

Japanese Culture visits Arrowhead

“Memoirs of a Geisha” by Arthur Golden had presenter Carla Vavrik and Inn owner Heath Houseman dressed in Japanese form!

The book club enjoyed an oriental luncheon with Japanese lanterns and paper dragons on the tables. Chef Jennie pleased the readers dining tastes as they listened to Japanese music. Myrna Hill displayed the Japanese doll she made herself, while living in Japan.
